Educational Qualifications

1. Senior Secondary (12th Class) or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
2. Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or
3. Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or
4. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or
5. Special Education degree

Alternatively

• Senior Secondary (12th Class) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and
• 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree.

Selection Process

1. Written Exam (CBT) – Objective MCQs on General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, Language, and Subject Knowledge.
2. Document Verification – For candidates who qualify the written exam.
3. Skill/Typing Test – Only for specific posts (if applicable).
4. Final Merit List – Based on written exam marks and reservation rules.

Salary Details

• Pay Scale: Level 6 of the 7th Pay Commission
• Basic Pay: ₹35,400 per month (starting)
• Grade Pay: As per 7th CPC, incorporated in Level 6
• Gross Salary: Approximately ₹45,000 to ₹50,000 per month (including allowances)
• Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other applicable benefits as per Delhi Government rules.

1. Visit the official DSSSB online portal: https://dsssbonline.nic.in
2. Complete the one-time registration to generate your User ID and Password.
3. Log in using your credentials.
4. Select the Assistant Teacher (Primary) post and fill in the application form carefully.
5. Upload all required documents (photograph, signature, educational certificates, category certificate if applicable, etc.).
6. Pay the application fee online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
7. Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
