- Date of birth should be between 02/01/1989 (UR & EWS) and 01/01/2007 (all categories)
- For OBC Non-Creamy Layer: DOB not earlier than 02/01/1986
- For SC/ST: DOB not earlier than 02/01/1984
- Undergraduate Level Posts:
- Age range: 18 to 33 years as on 01/01/2025
- Date of birth should be between 02/01/1992 (UR & EWS) and 01/01/2007 (all categories)
- For OBC Non-Creamy Layer: DOB not earlier than 02/01/1989
- For SC/ST: DOB not earlier than 02/01/1987
Age Relaxation for Various Categories
- OBC Non-Creamy Layer: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen (UR & EWS): 3 years (after deduction of service length)
- Ex-Servicemen (OBC NCL): 6 years (after deduction of service length)
- Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): 8 years (after deduction of service length)
- PwD (UR & EWS): 10 years
- PwD (OBC NCL): 13 years
- PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Serving Group ‘C’ and erstwhile Group ‘D’ Railway Staff with minimum 3 years service:
- UR & EWS: up to 40 years
- OBC NCL: up to 43 years
- SC/ST: up to 45 years
- Women candidates who are widowed, divorced, or judicially separated but not remarried:
- UR & EWS: up to 35 years
- OBC NCL: up to 38 years
- SC/ST: up to 40 years
